Happy New Year!

Wait, what do you mean it's already February?

At this point, I feel like I should just call these updates my "excuses" for not writing as much as I intended to write. I thank you all immensely for your patience with a critter whose mental health has been all over the damn place.

For once, there is some new news: I've switched to using Linux as my main operating system of choice. My Windows install on my laptop had slowed down to a crawl; it felt like I was actively fighting my computer to get it to do two things at a time. Swapping over to Garuda Linux may have been a more experimental leap than I strictly needed to make, but it has definitely gotten the job done. I just haven't made the time to set up PostyBirb on Linux. I'll be trying to resolve that today. I'd like to get back into the habit of posting something every Thursday, even if it's a short and self-indulgent piece.
